Beach Summer.
Thought I Share this picture of my daughter at Huntington Beach pier. It was a perfect day in the summer of 2015.
That summer I would go to the beach almost 3 times a week. I became a big fan of Body Surfing thanks to this movie called (Come Hell or HIgh Water.)
I highly recommend it. Now that I think about it I was kind of crazy, I would swim out to were the surfers would wait to catch waves, with just my swim fins, and ride the waves back to shore. At the time I never thought about sharks or drowning, But now that I am older I don't think I would do that it like that again maybe this time I will take my fins and boogie board.

Your post does remind me of back in the day body boarding all day long, never once worrying about sharks, but nowadays, it sure does cross the mind. And so yeah, I too would be hesitant to go real deep now. Nice post @edreno and beautiful photo!
Great photo. Long time since I've been there. Reminds me of when I lived down the road in Long Beach many years ago.
