SteemitPhotoChallenge #24 - Entry 3: Dry walls of Dalmatia

Technically, there are no any roads or paths on the places where I walk my dog.

So we use dry walls. Dry walls (suhozidi) have more purposes than just splitting territories. Whole Dalmatia is under "dry wall network". What does it mean?

When you look at the hill or at vineyard, you will notice that certain places were split by stone dams. That's why we call it "dry wall", there were not any binder to connect those rocks.

Dry walls are not just for slitting terrain. They were made for walking on them. They are the most common footpaths in Dalmatia. Only solution for inaccessible territory. And my dog can blunt her claws on these rocks very easily.
