Almost looks like a GSD from the side profile but not sure of what breed it is.

we adopted him and thought he was a GSD as well (or mix)
but were quite surprised to learn, best the vet could tell, he is a Jack Russel / Mini Pincher mix
which means nervous and HIGH ENERGY !
but he mellowed some over the years which is good
