📷 Steemit Photo Challenge: Ocean Entry #2 - Tale of a Fish

This posts bears such a funny title because it was shot with a lens that is called Fisheye

It has such a name because the glass element on the front of the lens resembles an eye of a fish. The form of the front glass element "sticks" out thus preventing usage of regular filters, is quite easy to scratch and has strong Barrel Distortion Those are usually extremely wide lenses that are cheaper to produce and the distortion can be fixed in post processing in Photoshop or it can be a desired affect if you are trying to achieve such.

This image was not corrected and you can see how line of the horizon and especially line of a cliff bends. The lines further from the center of a frame are bent more.

I have shot this lovely scenery from a cliff while visiting Bali a few years ago. Would spend hours there sitting and watching the waves. And since we do not have an ocean where i live i am submitting this shot for a competition.
