Since I found the @googlyeyes contest I now stick plastic googly eyes on random things in public and take photos of them.

I never thought of myself as an artist but then I found I was able to make some cool looking digital art for a steemit contest.

Neighborhood Water Fountains

If I enter a neighborhood that has a water fountain display I roll down my window and take a photo to post as a weekly #smartphonephotography entry.

Became A Contest Host

I ended up liking Steemit contests so much I started a weekly design contest that I allow Steemians to design my Profile Picture for the next week.

Poet

I used to enjoy reading famous quotes and poems but never thought of myself as a writer, then I found Steemit and entered some Poetry Contest and actually won. It gave me confidence to keep doing poetry.

The Imagination

~
Tic toc the clock is dripping,
or wait can it be slipping?
No no silly, you must mean ticking,
shh the clock is listening.

That box of colors with a bird head neck,
has cats for brains, wait what the heck?
A you know what, with a fish you know where,
checking out a pair of shh don't swear.

There's a man over there sitting in a chair,
his back turned in disgrace, or could it be in despair?
Son enough is enough, this sounds like dreams,
but dad I saw it I'm not imagining things.

Beautiful Sunday

Every Sunday I try to do something Beautiful. Last time I went to the Beach with my Beautiful Princess.

Since joining steemit I spend less time on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. On those platforms I seemed to just post personal, vacation, and beach day photos. But on steemit I create more content and my photos are more themed and by joining in #contest and #challenge's I have post interesting and sometimes unusual photos and creative works. My daily life now is more engaging and I feel more connected to people from all over the world.

This is a great platform to inspire and connect others and provide reward for interaction.

All of these things are just some of the many things I may have never done but...
