Save Ghana

Every individual in Ghana belongs to one religion or the other and all these religions in Ghana teaches about cleanliness. But this is the case that we do not feel anything when we litter and make the environment dirty. People wake up early sweep their compounds look left and right if nobody is coming then they throw the rubbish in the streets. People carry rubbish in the cars and when they get to a bush nearby on their drive ways they dump the rubbish in the bush forgetting that when the wind blows the light ones will be carried back into their houses.

People connect their bathrooms sewage with a pipe to outside their compound and will tell themselves that part of the land is not their but these same peoplewill sit in their houses and complain that there are a lot of mosquitoes in Ghana forgetting that their sewage is the breeding grounds.
Some people drink water from sachet and instead of putting the rubber sachet in their bags or carry it and later throw it into a bin they will rather look around and if no one is looking they will sneakily throw it anywhere. These same people will say Ghana is dirty.
Recently, I saw someone throwing a "FanIce" pack away from a car we were both sitting in and I asked him why did he do that, the answer he gave me was if he throws the pack in a bin how is those working at zoom lion( a waste management company in Ghana) going to get work to do.
Waste management is the responsibility of every living individual. As we are stewards of the earth, it is a mandate to take care of it and taking care, I mean improvement or maintain.
***let's all try and protect the environment for it is the only living place we have got. It's not too late, we can fix the earth.
