WHY POVERTY PERSIST IN THE WORLD (*part two*)

POVERTY

The issue of a continuous grip of this undesirable and disdainful element in our world is not only worrisome but it's earth-quakingly heart breaking, especially when one considers the clearly avoidable factors that are responsible. Factors caused by man.

Different Dimensions

The dimensions differ from one factor to the other. However, they are inter-related so that one problem ever occurs alone.
For instance, lack of income as a result of lack of job causes hunger which can lead to illness and diseases. Lack of jobs can also lead to crimes of various levels. Lack of or very low income leads to bad sanitation and this makes it easier to spread both old and new diseases. Poverty causes people to live in slumps, unventilated environments, eat junk foods etc, etc.

Generational

The vicious cycle of this unscrupulous element means a life long handicap and troubles which are passed on from one generation to another. It has become hereditary in many cases and so breaking the cycle takes a divine intervention. For instance, 1, no education for the child 2, child labor to help parents 3, transmission of diseases etc etc etc, are caused by lack of money or inadequate income to cater for these needs. Kids who can't actually go to school would not simply see how hard work can improve their lives as they see their parents fail at the task everyday.

THE EFFEECT

Impoverished communities and people often suffer from discrimination and end up caught in cycles of poverty.

Poverty and Crime

Crime varies over time and space. It's high in specific areas and low in others usually with huge difference in wealth. This has always led experts to study why and what happens in those places where there is a concentration of crime.images (4).jpg

Findings

The findings are that Crimes Ranks High among the Effects of poverty, and those impoverished neighborhoods or entire cities show the same problem with adults and kids that nurture more unemployment and crime, and then leading to chronic, long-lasting poverty.

Comparison

Further more, studies have proven over time that unemployment is a bigger factor for specific types of crimes than income inequality. Low income in other hand spur poverty related crimes (like burglary and the likes) but reduces when income increases. Overall studies have shown very different effects of poverty, from social inclusion to income inequality and unemployment.

OTHER PLAGUES ASSOCIATED WITH POVERTY

1. Alcohol and substance abuse from kids in Africa slum to adults in the USA; this a very common self destructive habit often taken in a way to cope with huge amount of stress as well as despair.download (11).jpg
2. Crippling accidents due to unsafe working environment (machines in factories or agriculture) as well as other work hardzards such as lead positioning, pesticides poisoning, bites from wild animals due to lack of proper protection.
3. Poor housing conditions - a classic cause of disease.203-KiberaSlum.jpg
4. Water and food related diseases simply because the poor can't afford safe foods.

EFFECT OF POVERTY ON THE SOCIETY AS A WHOLE

Very clearly in the end, poverty is the major cause of social tension and threatens to divide a a nation because of the issues of inequality, in particular, income inequality. stock-photo-barcelona-catalonia-spain-september-people-on-rally-support-for-independence-of-719903428.jpg
This happens when wealth (the common patrimony) in a country is poorly distributed among it's citizens. In other words, when a tiny minority has all the money or wealth.

The feature of a rich or developed country, for instance, is the presence of the middle class, but recently we have seen even developed Western Countries gradually losing their middle class.

CONCLUSION

Liberation
The worrisome situation described above can be remedied. Remember, no body gives you freedom, you just have to fight for it.

The leaders/elites (both political and business) consciously and deliberately create scarcity, the pyramid system in the wealth distribution organogram to perpetually enslave the majority of the populace. Check it out, in Asia, African, Latin America, USA or Europe, all same.

The down trodden populace must rise to fight the menace. Thank God for cryptocurrency that has come to break and dislodge the fiat money system.

Steemit is one of the Cryptocurrencies on this vanguard*.images.png

Let everyone, especially the youths, embrace it and also engage heavily on entrepreneurship. This shall altimately, without fail, bring about the needed liberation from the demonic grip of the elites.
