Let's follow these steps!

1. Draw two circles beside each other.
2. Draw two smaller circles inside the bigger circle.
3. Draw another circle in the lower center of the previous circle. (We now have the eyes and the nose.)
4. Draw a vertical line from the nose going down.
5. Draw a curve line as illustrated above.

6. Draw another curve below, depicting a smile.
7. Draw the tongue as illustrated above.
8. Draw three lines on each side of the vertical line. (They're the whiskers.)
9. Draw a circle connecting the eyes and enclosing the stuff you drew earlier. (This is Doraemon's face.)

10. Draw a bigger circle enclosing the first drawing. (This is the head of Doraemon.)
11. Draw a flat sphere below the head.
12. Erase the middle part of the sphere.
13. Draw a circle on it.

14. Draw a parallel line inside the small circle.
15. Draw a small dot and a straight vertical line below the dot. (This is Doraemon's Bell)
16. Draw the shape illustrated above. (This is a pattern for Doraemon's body.)
17. Try to separate the lower part as illustrated. (These are Doraemon's short legs.)

18. Draw an oblong inside the body, starting from the collar, as illustrated above.
19. Draw a boat-like pattern inside the oblong. (This is Doraemon's Pocket.)
20. Draw both arms. (The position of the arms is up to you. ^^)
21. Draw 2 circles attached to the arms. (These are Doraemon's hands)
22. Lastly, draw two oblongs attached to the legs. (These are Doraemon's feet.)

And we're done drawing Doraemon!!!!

Actually, you can still choose to continue by inking it, or by coloring it. This time, I'm going to show you how I inked and colored my Doraemon drawing.

Just trace the drawing earlier. You can make some adjustments, too.





Then erase the primary sketch... You can stop here, but you may also continue by coloring it... ^^





My style is to color the edges first, then color the body part lightly.

This is the finished DORAEMON drawing!!!
