Let's take a look at flair.
Flair has two different meanings.
- To have a specific talent to do something.
eg. Barry has a flair for playing cricket. (He is very good at playing cricket.) - To be stylish and have originality.
Eg. Holly has a flair to dress the girls for their matric farewell.
Let's take a look at flare
Flare can be used as a noun or a verb.
Flare has two different meanings when used as a noun.
A sudden burst of a bright flame or light.
Eg. A distress flare was seen over the ocean.The gradual widening in shape.
Eg. Helen's pants gradually flare out to the bottom of her skirt.
Flare has two different meanings when used as a verb.
- When someone suddenly becomes angry.
Eg. Holly sat at the counter when she jumped up in a flare of anger and began shouting at Harry. - When something gradually widens to one end.
Eg. She got so angry her nostrils flared.

Do you know the difference between lie and lay.
Let's take a look at lie.
Lie is very easy to remember. It means to be in a horizontal position, to rest. Easy hey?
So when you are going to bed you lie down on your bed to sleep.

Let's take a look at lay.
Lay means to put something in a place.
Eg. I lay the table. I lay the papers on the desk.
