Actually, the steemit i use to know back in mid 2016 follows this choose a niche rules, right not i do not think that works anymore.
Once you could write a couple of paragraphs and buy votes to "up-em"; you are good to go. This is my 2nd attempt back at steemit and i hope i stay put and not loose my formal passkeys.
Good luck. I wish I were on Steemit in mid 2016 but I am thankful that I was at least on WordPress learning how to blog.
smiles, i left cos there were just tiny groups of friends who doesn't pay attention to others and i was fighting depression then.
