Being a Good Communicative in English Into the World Public Society

English language has handled the whole world communication control since a long times ago. It was a real thing toward the world’s society that English became the first (International) language in the public society communication all around the world. Its proofed based on what the world language used nowadays which performed in all aspects such as communications, politics, military, scientific and technnological and also another aspects.

Indeed, all people around the world needed to learn and to practise it because the benefits which they found while the communication process is going on between the two people in different nations whereas the English language became as second language in their land.

Consequently, in using English language through the whole communication, the communicant needed to be a good communicative English uses in case to make it successful interactions between each others and more competences in building a good communicative line.

The nations which is used English language as their second language surely would faced some obstalce or affected in their communicative toward the people itself, such as socio-cultural (Cross Culture), language style (accents), speaking arts and etc.

Yasukata Yano (Waseda University 1999) states “language its self is used for self expression, verbal thingking, problem solving, building relationship, business, and creative writing/reading, sometimes it is used essentially for communication aspects”.

In the line with being a good communicative English user, there are a lot of ways to enhance the good communicative user into the public society’s all around the world, especially in English language. The ways that would be more supporting to the user when they want to practise their communications to be more competence has mentioned in the Longman Dictionary of Applied Linguistics (Richards et al. 1985):

“Communicative Competence Includes:

• Knowledge of the grammar and vocabulary of the language;
• Knowledge of the rules of speaking (knowing how to begin and end conversations, what topics may be talked about in different types of speech events, which address forms should be used with different persons in different situations, etc.);
• Knowing how to use and respond to different types of speech acts, such as requests, apologies, thanks, and invitations; and
• Knowing how to use language appropriately.”

And also, Yano (1999) states that

”The successful language use for communication presupposes the development of communicative competence in the users of that language and that the use of language is constrained by the socio-cultural norms of the society where the language is used.”

According both of language’s expert mentioned, the English communicative language truly necessary needed to increase more competences and avoiding some of missunderstanding and misscommunications based on the different cross cultural among the communicant all around the world.

The four points which mentioned by Jack C. Richard became the better steps in conducting communicative to be more competences with understand and mastering the language used, condition, culture and also Yano added that the first important aspect in building the good communicative competence language by undersatanding socio cultural part which consisted by language style (accents), speaking arts into the public society used.

In addition, the present issues in mastering communicative on English language besides the socio cultural is placed on the English abilities mastery which devided into four skill; Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. In this matter, the main part that would necessary used is speaking and listening, both of abilities gived a big influenced toward communicative competences. Wherefore the communicant needed to master both of abilities besides the others into communicative process! It hence that speaking and listening became the first framework in building communicative competences. After that, the others English skill (Writing and reading) will flowed together while the progressed running on.

Finally, it must be pointed that “Being a Good Communicative English User” is necessary needed, whether its fluent or English competent; the only thing that communicant/user needed is to understand and mastering all aspect about what the the explanation mentioned above. When the communicant/user being competence in their communicative, it may follow the positive changes, which is the improvement follow their own ability in conforming with the others, and as well as native speakers. What about the socio culture used in different place, it just necessity a good understanding about the cross culture that used by some public society in their own land, nations.

As a matter of fact, even in learning and mastering how to be a good communicative English language user became a difficult case between the different nations’ society that used English as second language or mother tounge. The socio cultural are not totally shared between them because of understanding and mastering the key points that they learned.

This Journal was my paper at undergradute time, it was for about 5 years ago! :-D, It's shown that my english writing still awkward at that times, and also this time really need improving.
