Hi all steemian friends, on this occasion, I would like to share another interesting basic trick of arithmetic, especially for students who want to master arithmetic. This trick is named as Multiplying Numbers that End with Zero's.

One of your favorite hobbies is collecting stickers. Overall, you have collected 30 pieces of stickers. Each sheet consists of 50 stickers. What's the total number of stickers? To find out the answer, you must do multiplication: 30 x 50.

Here's the ways!

The key is when doing the calculations, ignoring the zeros in unit numbers. So, to know the total number of strikers, we will multiply 3 x 5 instead of 30 x 50. However, we must rewrite the zero after completing the multiplication. Now, let's multiply 30 x 50. We'll soon find out how many strikers you've collected.

Let's try with another example!

Always remember! This trick does not apply to multiplications where the zero is not on the unit number, for example in the middle. This trick can not be used to work on numbers 704 and 2,001. However, this trick applies to the numbers 60, 900, and 1,200. Do not forget to rewrite the zeros you removed in the unit numbers!.

Let's practice again!

This is all about my explanation for this basic arithmetic trick, follow my post to get other arithmetic tricks, that I will explain in my next post. Hopefully, this article useful for me personally and for you all.
