Let's study about ACTIVE and PASSIVE in PRESENT FUTURE TENSE.
Hay Steemians wherever you are.Hopefully, steemians are in good health and happy.In this post,I will try to teach english to all steemians about ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE in PRESENT FUTURE TENSE.
A. UNDERSTANDING.
Understanding from Active is an action is done by Subject.
Understanding from Passive is An action is done by Object.
Understanding from Present Future Tense is An action that will happen in the future time.
B. FORMULA.
The Active and Passive Formulas in Present Future Tense form are :
S + Will/Shall + V1 + O + C. = ACTIVE
O + Will/Shall + Be (TOBE) + V3 + BY + S + C = PASSIVE.
C. CHANGING SENTENCES.
How to change from Active to Passive sentences, like the example below:
THEY WILL VISIT MY GRANDMA'S HOUSE TOMORROW (Active)
THEY functions as Subject (S)
WILL functions as a EXELIARY VERB or MODAL.
VISIT function as a verb1 (V1)
MY GRANDMA'S HOUSE function as Object (O)
TOMORROW function as Complement (C)
To change from Active to Passive sentence above, the way is :
MY GRANDMA'S HOUSE WILL BE VISITED BY THEM TOMORROW (Passive).
How is the way :
Put Object (O) in front of the sentence, followed by TOBE (WILL/SHALL BE).
The Subject Pair of TOBE above is:
WILL = You, We, They,
SHALL = I, SHE, He, It.
After knowing TOBE and Subject pair, then proceed with change of verb.
The verb ke1 (V1) is changed to verb3 (V3).
Example:
Visit (V1) -Visited(V2) -Visited(V3)
Check(V1) - Cjecked(V2) - Checked (V3).
Eat(V1) - Ate(V2) - Eaten(V3).
After the change, then followed by "BY. After putting "By", proceed with changing substitute Subject.
See Substitute Subject changes below:
I become ME,
YOU become YOU,
WE become US,
THEY become THEM,
SHE become HER,
HE become HIM,
IT Become IT.
If in the Subject line is I, then after "By", I is replaced by ME, and so on. After that, proceed by placing COMPLEMENT (C) at the end of the sentence.
See example ACTIVE sentence changes to PASSIVE below :
THEY WILL VISIT MY GRANDMA'S HOUSE TOMORROW(ACTIVE)
Being,
MY GRANDMA'S HOUSE SHALL BE VISITED BY THEM TOMORROW (PASSIVE).
NOTE :
If steemians want to make another example, the most important thing is Look for OBJECT to be put in the first of sentence, and the next follow formula.Dont run from formula...!
