Teach children to love animals as one more member of the family.
Animals or pets are very noble beings that accompany us and give us their love.
Having a pet at home is like having one more member of the family, this has needs as a person, it must be fed, cleaned regularly and taken care of to avoid getting sick because they also require medication.
To have animals at home, you must have a sense of responsibility and, of course, love towards them, because when you adopt an animal you acquire a commitment and this will depend on your care to live.
# The dynamics in the home
Having a pet is a responsibility. As a member of the family, the pet will need a space where he will eat, sleep and spend some time, this space should be suitable for him, where he can count on his plate of food and water and can move with some freedom, since it is not it is good to restrict the animal to a space where it can not be moved, just as human beings are restless, and being confined or caged will do them much harm.
Inside the house, the pet should be taught what his / her space will be, that he/she must remain in it, he/she must also be taught the basic rules to meet his / her needs. Therefore, it is recommended to establish fixed hours in which the pet is taken out of the house to satisfy their needs, the animals are very intelligent, so they will assume the space that is delimited and the basic rules of the house, it is recommended that Having animals at home is large, with a backyard large enough for the animal to feel comfortable, it is not recommended to have large breeds in the apartments, in the case of dogs, because being structured children, the animal will be in direct contact with household items.
The animals on the street.
Show this reality to children, but there are also organizations that have had the willingness to provide food and shelter to these animals and even insert them into a home for adoption, however, this reality still persists in many cities. They can observe a large number of animals in the streets, dogs, and cats, who roam in search of food exposed to all the dangers, such as being run over by traffic.
There are also people who perform cruel acts against animals in street situations, although there are animal protection laws, these laws have not had a successful dissemination at a massive level, so some people have incurred cruel treatment to animals and have not received a sanction measure according to the damage done to a living being.
It is important to teach children that animals are living beings that they feel as human beings and that even if they are in a street situation, they should be given respect and assistance. This will sensitize the child to respect and care for the animals.
If there are stray animals in the street where you live, an act of humanity to help them is to leave the remains of food or other foods outside the house to feed them and make life a little easier for these living beings.
Dynamic with children
One part of each child's education is knowing the name of the animals and distinguishing them, however, we do not convey the respect and love they also need.
At school you can also plant the bases of respect for animals, it is good to talk with children about the problem of animals in street situations and invite them to make their contribution to handling this situation, for example, by providing them with food, and even adopt a pet with the consent of their parents.
Each child at some point in their life will ask to have a pet to their parents, demonstrating that the interaction with the animals is very healthy for the child since with the help of the animal they can develop the symbolic game.
In therapies for children with disabilities or special needs, contact with animals is shown as a stimulation resource, such as equine therapy, where contact with horses with special needs can improve their quality of life. Just as contact with dolphins is a recommended practice in a process of therapies followed to which is practiced in a conventional manner and applied to treat neurological and psychological conditions, such as autism, Down syndrome, muscle hypotonia, psychomotor retardation, mental retardation, and others.
Pets are living beings and they should be given the respect and love they deserve like all living beings.

thanks friend for the support.
Thank you for this post - I am an 'animalholic' and we were just talking about this yesterday how parents fail to teach children to respect and love animals and expect the schools to do that. Resteeming - people who do not love animals do not make sense to me
thank you friend for comment, people who live with pets are more human. In addition, living with pets favors the development of the child and strengthens the immune system.
