Get Ready on A New School Year!

On the first day of new school year, there are many things should be noticed both by teacher and student. For the student, they have to prepare their school needs such as school uniform, stationary, schedule for the lesson, locker room arrangements, school bus route, the seat arrangements, and the break time. Then for the teacher, there are also many things that must be prepared. Those all include the list of the class, the list of students, student handbook, computer laboratory schedule, library schedule, and also bell schedule. Either teacher or student, the first day of the new school year is very important. This is the day the student measure if the teacher has a good competency or not, good or evil, care or not.

Hari pertama tahun ajaran, ada banyak hal yang harus diperhatikan baik oleh guru dan siswa. Bagi siswa, mereka harus mempersiapkan kebutuhan sekolah mereka seperti; seragam sekolah, perlengkapan alat tulis, jadwal pelajaran, pengaturan ruang loker, rute bus sekolah, pengaturan tempat duduk, dan waktu istirahat. Kemudian untuk guru, ada juga banyak hal yang harus dipersiapkan. Semuanya termasuk daftar kelas, daftar siswa, buku pegangan, jadwal laboratorium komputer, jadwal perpustakaan, jadwal istirahat dan juga jadwal bel. Baik guru atau siswa, hari pertama tahun ajaran baru sangat penting. Pada hari inilah siswa mengukur jika gurunya memiliki kompetensi yang baik atau tidak, baik atau jahat, peduli atau tidak.

After all school needs are already prepared, teacher must keep going to make a plan for the first day of the new school year. It will be important for the teacher to create a good atmosphere on the first day of the class. The teacher should avoid to do some classic mistake. Mostly some teacher waste the first day meet to arrange student seat, distribute student handbook, or even read the list of student's name and the long school regulation. This condition does not want by most student on their new school year. Off course we have to be care on student's discipline. Teacher must be firm on the first day of teaching in class. Somehow teacher should not intimidate the student if they want to express their ideas in the classroom. Teacher should create the comprehensive plan and organize them all well. The starting point can be begin with the class condition that create as what you want it.

Setelah semua kebutuhan sekolah sudah dipersiapkan, guru harus terus membuat rencana untuk hari pertama tahun ajaran baru. Penting bagi guru untuk menciptakan suasana yang baik pada hari pertama kelas. Guru harus menghindari melakukan kesalahan klasik. Sebagian besar sebagian guru menghabiskan hari pertama untuk mengatur tempat duduk siswa, membagikan buku pegangan siswa, atau bahkan membaca daftar nama siswa dan peraturan sekolah yang panjang. Kondisi ini tidak diinginkan oleh kebanyakan siswa di tahun ajaran baru mereka. Tentu kita harus memperhatikan disiplin siswa. Guru harus teguh pada hari pertama mengajar di kelas. Bagaimanapun juga, guru seharusnya tidak mengintimidasi siswa jika mereka ingin mengungkapkan gagasan mereka di kelas. Guru harus membuat rencana yang komprehensif dan mengatur semuanya dengan baik. Titik awal bisa dimulai dengan kondisi kelas yang tercipta seperti yang dinginkan.

Welcome the student at school and in the classroom
Standing in front of the class, give students warm greeting and smile to your students will make first good impression. Then, teacher has to make a note what is special about your student on this day. The student perhaps come from different school. They have to find new friends. Probably there is a conversion student that is not familiar with the new school environtment.

Menyambut siswa di sekolah dan di kelas
Berdiri di depan kelas, memberi siswa salam hangat dan senyuman kepada siswa Anda akan membuat kesan pertama yang baik. Kemudian, guru harus membuat catatan apa yang spesial tentang murid Anda pada hari ini. Muridnya mungkin berasal dari sekolah yang berbeda. Mereka harus mencari teman baru. Mungkin ada siswa konversi yang tidak asing dengan lingkungan sekolah yang baru

Introduce Yourself
Tell about your living background, the task that become your responsibility, your family, your interest. Then you should explain why you choose English teacher as a carrier. You must show if you proud to be a teacher. You also have to show them how you respect your job highly.

Perkenalkan Diri Anda
Ceritakan tentang latar belakang hidup anda, tugas yang menjadi tanggung jawab anda, keluarga anda, minat anda. Maka anda harus menjelaskan mengapa anda memilih guru bahasa Inggris sebagai karir. Anda harus menunjukkan apakah anda bangga menjadi guru. Anda juga harus menunjukkan kepada mereka bagaimana anda sangat menghargai pekerjaan anda.

Introduce Your Lesson
You must be positive to the class you are going to teach. Explain about the benefit of your lesson, describe it detail and clearly. be passionate and widely-sighted as you do it. Don't expect your student understand why they have to go to specific class. Most of them registered because the major is a must for students. Be consider there are not all of the student love to study English and not all students hate to study English instead. However, every student want to know what is he going to study in your class.

Perkenalkan Pelajaran Anda
Anda harus bersikap positif terhadap kelas yang akan anda ajarkan. Jelaskan tentang manfaat pelajaran Anda, jelaskan secara rinci dan jelas. bergairah dan berpegang luas saat anda melakukannya. Jangan berharap siswa anda mengerti mengapa mereka harus pergi ke kelas tertentu. Kebanyakan dari mereka terdaftar karena jurusan ini adalah suatu keharusan bagi siswa. Pertimbangkan tidak semua siswa senang belajar bahasa Inggris dan tidak semua siswa tidak suka belajar bahasa Inggris. Namun, setiap siswa ingin tahu apa yang akan dia pelajari di kelas anda.

In conclusion, teacher have to be confident of what you say on your first day in the classroom. You mustn't say if there are some student who will get a good result and some of them will be failed. Make sure every student know that they are going to start the new school year on the new chapter without worrying their past mistakes. Tell your student that they have responsibility as a student to attend in the class regularly, do the task, and be active in the class activities. Convince your students, if they do all of them, they will become a student with an excellent achievement.

Sebagai kesimpulan, guru harus yakin dengan apa yang dibicarakan pada hari pertama anda di kelas. Anda tidak harus mengatakan jika ada beberapa siswa yang akan mendapatkan hasil bagus dan beberapa di antaranya akan gagal. Pastikan setiap siswa mengetahui bahwa mereka akan memulai tahun ajaran baru di lembaran baru tanpa mengkhawatirkan kesalahan mereka di masa lalu. Beritahu siswa anda bahwa mereka memiliki tanggung jawab sebagai siswa untuk hadir di kelas secara teratur, melakukan tugas, dan aktif dalam kegiatan kelas. Yakinkan siswa anda, jika mereka melakukan semuanya, mereka akan menjadi siswa dengan prestasi yang bagus.
