First Teaching Experience

I am Nasrullah. Alumni of English Education at STAIN Malikussaleh. I was a teacher in some schools. Despite many teaching places, first impressions of teaching are important. Therefore, I try to practice teaching in front of my friends. I ask them to be students and I am a teacher. I asked them to listen to me teaching. then they asked me to ask and I replied. After that I asked them to provide teaching methods of teaching, mastery of classes, and mastery of the material.

For some of my friends who have studied in modern pesantren. Teaching is common to them. Before graduating, they are required by the principal to teach in grade 1. So mentally they are ready, stay for the material only.

With me Mentally I have never terlahtih become a teacher before. Mental and speaking skills in front of me at HMI. As for the ability to deliver materials, I request the cooperation of friends. I practiced it in front of my friends-park. That's what I do before I teach in school.

All Steemian, my first teaching experience was in SMPN 3 Kota Lhokseumawe. It was still semester 6. I as a student in the Department of Education must follow the PPL, because it is compulsory courses. Our PPL students are delivered directly by Supervisor / lecturer to School. At that time I and my friends at SMPN 3 precisely in the village Tumpok Teungoh District Muara Dua Lhokseumawe City. My friends and I met with the principal. Then the principal handed me to the teacher of English studies. After that we are pleased whenever we teach and what activities we must follow.

The first day of teaching, I just introduce myself and Q & A with the students, after which open a little introduction about the English lesson. Then I made a contract work with students in class. coincidentally my mentor teacher did not go to class. He gave me full confidence to get the class. He just picked me from the outside. If there is a method that is lacking, it is delivered in the class.

The second day, I started teaching. before, welcome the teaching materials, I know to the students about the previous lesson. It is necessary to know how far the students are about the previous material. The third day I have started to apply the game in the learning process. this I do to improve the sense of students in teaching and learning process. the following days I was warned in various ways that could be applied in teaching.

That was my initial teaching experience.
