In the wake of the Christmas Atmosphere, today I want to talk about the beautiful things that happen, indeed some good person makes them happen.
There are many little heroes around us, but we do not know and maybe they do not even know they are.

It is said "to change the world step by step", but for the story I'm about to say it would be better to say: let's change the world, soap after soap.
I like writing about the beautiful and positive things that happen around us, especially during this period where the Christmas atmosphere involves and sweetens everyone, and it is precisely the case of CLEAN THE WORLD.

Have you ever heard of recycling soap bars to give to people who can not access them?

Yet the waste of personal care products from hotels they can be reworked and transformed again into a new product.

It may seem like a trivial idea but UNICEF data is clear:
1.5 million children die of dysentery and to halve this amount would be enough to have clean hands.
So wash the hands with soap would counter this serious health crisis.
Since 2009 Shawn Seipler, founder of the non-profit Association Clean the World, carries on this great project of recycling and redistribution of soap.

To date, over 41 million soap bars have been distributed in over 118 countries worldwide.

Every day the Association, based in Orlando and Las Vegas, collects scraps of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotions from more than 4000 accommodation facilities in the US.
There were about 2 million soaps, those partially used that were thrown away every day.

Today, however, the collected material is dissolved, sterilized and condensed into new soaps.

The association recently launched this project in China through a partnership with SISCO and expansion is also expected in Africa and South America.
This beneficial and non-profit project is a valid help to improve those sanitary situations that involve a high mortality rate besides the fact that reducing the waste of products for care and hygiene helps to limit the environmental impact.

It would be nice if so many other companies, clearly non-profit, took part in this project .
How many hotels are spread all over the world?
And what happens to their hygiene products partially used by customers?

So many things can be done both to improve the environment around us and to improve the lives of less fortunate people.

But I am positive, not only for the Christmas Atmosphere, but because I believe every little good deed is a small goal to make something bigger.

Love the whole idea. Anything that is going to put less of a stress on our environment is a great idea.
Well done.

It's true they had a brilliant idea and I hope it will spread to many other cities. Thanks a lot.
