WHY DO WE CRY?
Hi children did you know we have different types of tears.
Have you ever helped your mother to chop onions in the kitchen.
You will know that it can make your eyes water.
These are different tears to the ones we use when we feel sad.
If you have you will know that there are three types of tears.
Basil tears keep the side of the eye with the colour wet so that your eyes do not dry out.
Then we get reflex tears they come when we have something in our eyes that we want to get out.
You must know how it feels when you have something like dust in your eyes.
These reflex tears will help you get the dust out.
Last but not least there are the emotional tears that will appear when you get hurt or maybe you are sad about a story.
