INVENTION OF X RAY FOR CHILDREN TO UNDERSTAND
As nearly all inventions it does seem this was also discovered by accident.
The first x ray was taken by the developer of his wife’s hand.
What I also find wonderful is that he did not want to take out a patent to this invention, as he said he wanted the whole world to be able to be helped from the invention.
This made life a lot easier for doctors as they did not have to cut the flesh to see if a bone was broken or maybe where a bullet was situated during the war.
He did get the first Nobel Prize for Physics in 1901.
He believed that science should not be used for profit as he was a wonderful humble man.
Now the (X) stands for the unknown as he did not really know what type of rays were causing the picture in the beginning and that is why he used the x as the unknown.
You are learning a lot of inventions that most of us do not know how they started, and that to me is a good thing.
Just think if you ask the older children about all the inventions you have learned about and they do not know.
This will really make you feel good and happy.
So do not miss out on this invention as it is very interesting and it is teaching you things that other people might not know.
