Why People Want to Be an Educator
Each person must have a target and the hope for the future, everyone has goals they want to achieve. When we were the elementary school, the answer we give when the teacher asks about the ideals, we will answer the wish to become soldiers, doctors, pilots, teachers, and various other jobs.
One of the jobs that many people aspire to is to become a teacher. Even many dedicate themselves to be a teacher despite having to fight a variety of obstacles.
Everyone has a different inspiration or motivation when they aspire to be a teacher. This indicates that people are different, nothing is the same, either physically or their ideas. In this article, I want to write about some of the reasons and inspiring person, why do they dedicate and aspire to become teachers?
- Teaching is a noble job.
The first reason why many people have the dream of becoming a teacher is, that being a teacher is a noble job, a job that can determine good or bad the fate of the nation in the future. There would be no point in the knowledge that we have, if such knowledge stored neatly in the closet and not be taught to the younger generation, to the students who will take the reins in advancing the nation.
Science is a treasure, no matter how much wealth we share with people, then the property will not be reduced, but he will continue to grow. - Increase Insights & The passion for learning.
When we teach, starting from teaching in elementary school or even at university, then we will also participate in learning. Can you imagine if at the time of teaching and there are students who ask but we as teachers cannot answer these questions?
Learning to teach is not only to be able to answer all questions submitted by students but also can convey all the subject matter well without being restrained. Therefore, our brains as the teacher will also continue to accommodate things that previously have not been mastered, and also can enhance the spirit of learning within teacher, and increase knowledge of teachers. The two reasons above are some of the many other reasons which motivate anyone in this world to dedicate themselves to being a teacher. Some other reasons are to make education can be felt by anyone living in the most remote areas though.
Reasons like this are usually owned by the teachers serving in remote areas, they are far from family, willing to leave a good life in the city only to provide education to anyone who needs it.
They never count the amount of money given, not even expecting it, because sincerity to serve the country and educating the nation's successors is enough to motivate them to become teachers. [ source ]
