3RD GRADE MATH - FINDING SIDE LENGTH OF A RECTANGLE FROM ITS AREA

Finding Side Length of a Rectangle when its Area and other Side Length is Known

In the previous post we explored relation between side lengths of a rectangle to its area. Now we know that area of any rectangle is multiplication (product) of its side lengths (adjacent sides).

Area = length l  x length m

In this activity we will learn finding a side length of the rectangle given its area and other side length. Below are the  worksheets explaining the concept.

Just unbelievable worksheets. Thanks for the great post. All the best

I take advantage of your ability to teach children.

It is very important to move to the cell in every step of life. And it is also important to know the numbers.

Happy Steeming.

@mukhtarilyas, when the kids are dealing with a division like 72/8 = ...?, you think how x 8 generates 72. @mathworksheets, so the child thinks so the child finds the number. sort of game.
