3RD GRADE MATH - ADDING MEASUREMENTS
Learning to Add Measurements
When adding measurements there are the following key points which need to be remembered;
- Only add similar units. For example; add metres to metres, ml to ml. Never add different units together.
- When adding two measurements with different number of digits, align the digits from right to left.
- Always include the units with your answer. Answer gets the same units as of the units got added.
Following are two worksheets to practice the concept;
