2nd Grade Math - Counting Numbers " The Hundred Chart"

Counting Numbers to Hundred - Forward & Backward

In grade one kids should know counting to 20 at least (many kids can count to 100 in grade 1 though). In second grade math kids must know larger numbers such as counting to 200 or 300 and beyond.

Hundred chart is the key to learn counting numbers in grade two math. Below is the hundreds charts followed by links to pdf files;

lovely lessons for kids.. thank you @mathworksheets for sharing the resources with us
Cheers!

I really appreciate your support dear @dinsha :)) You are great!

Life would be easier if we used binary, that way kids would only have to count to 1.

Then counting would have been
0 1 01 10 11 001 010 100 101 111.....................

I think we should go to a three phase counting system with binary 0, 1 and 'maybe'. The 'maybe' factor being determined by AI and probabilities of factors pertinent to the the problem. That way if told to go to the store and get five items people will be happy if I come back with anywhere between four and seven items, depending on such things as the phase of the moon my my personal level of forgetfulness. LOL.

Wow, that "maybe" can change the whole binary system then, I never thought of that before. Great thoughts dear brother!

I'm kind of joking but with quantum computing on the forefront you just never know what might happen.

That is actually a great thought. Zero means nothing and 1 means source and "maybe" is everything between!

Would be rather boring , maybe we should go back to Roman numerals so we can spell words like DIM.

Got an objection to this lesson, my dear @mathworksheets… this one can raise the BINGO generation!

You scared me!! He hehehee ;)

Those are very helpful lessons for the kids.

Yes @rockg, I used them a lot during my tutoring years.
