Sport is a very important activity for the health of our body, both adults and children. But many parents do not realize how important sporting activities to grow their children. Growth and development in children is a very important thing to be noticed by all parents, both in terms of their development in the field of science and their physical, which is closely related to sports activities that they live in their daily lives. Because by knowing the growth and development in children, we will also know how much physical, mental, and emotional development that occurs in our children.

A child who is always doing sports and good at sports activities, they will have a high level of kinesthetic intelligence, where their ability to use their bodies skillfully to express their ideas, thoughts and feelings in every communication they do, both in school and in in society. A child who often doing sports, he will be able to improve his physical skills in balancing his body movements, resistance to disease, strong in the face of various physical stresses, and also the flexibility and speed of his body in reacting.

In optimizing the physical, emotional and mental development of children, Sport is an excellent choice as a support for the physical development of children. Children who are active in sports activities, will get many benefits to the physical and mental development, beside it will make the body become healthy, children can also develop motor skills. But sport for children is not the same as adults, safe and good sport for children is a sport that does not use a lot of physical strength, sports followed by children must be light exercise where they feel comfortable and happy with the sport that is, because children need more time to play than study time, they are always active to move around.

As wise parents, we should not force the sporting activities that our children will follow, but we give them space and choices for sport according to their own desires and choices, if we impose in the determination of the sport to which it follows, then will likely result in the lazy child sports doing. Therefore, we as parents should be wise in choosing a sport that is suitable and good for our children. Very unfortunate if our children doing sports because forced, caused by the selfishness of his parents, because basically something that is forced will not be good results.

Many of the reality we find in our social life, there are children who feel lazy and not enthusiastic to sports activities caused by the lack of support from parents, or no friends of his age to be invited to do sports that in the same hobby with him, or maybe not enough facilities for children to develop their talents in sports, we as parents should be wise in providing support and direction for our children so that our children will do sports early on.

  • Sports can maintain health and fitness because by actively doing sports children will be actively moving, so it can burn calories and fat that accumulate in the body and will reduce the risk of disease caused by obesity.

  • The right event in communicating and interacting for children. If the child is active in sports activities, this will instill confidence in the child to be able to socialize with others, because when a child does sports activities, he will work together in teams, where they are required to be always compact in achieving their team goals, help our children to make friends more easily and communicate with the crowd.

  • Encourage children to learn sportsmanship and honest. By following sports activities, train children to learn sportsmanship and honest, because while he was in a sporting event he will experience a victory and sometimes defeat. When he gets a victory over what he tries with his friends, the child will be required to be humble in what he achieves and when the child gets defeated in his game, the child must be able to accept it and must rise again to achieve victory.

  • Build a high confidence in children. With sports can help children in improving self-confidence, because they are accustomed to competing with the crowd and have a lot of experience in carving various achievements in sports.

Doing Sports activities on early age is a very appropriate aspect in developing the intelligence of our children, where sports activities are very useful to build mental and emotional physical development in our children, therefore let's invite and engage our children in sports activities from an early age.
