SEXUAL EDUCATION IN ADOLESCENCE.
Sex education begins at a very early age and we must face the different aspects included in it in a gradual manner and according to the evolutionary development of our children and adolescents. It must be precise, objective and complete without forgetting the biological, psychic and social aspects, understanding sexuality as a human relationship. For all this sexuality must be present among family issues and not wait to talk with children about this issue in adolescence, the earlier you talk to children about sexuality is better because they will be more ready to start your sex life at the time and at the right time and without haste.
If you are contemplating talking about sex with a teenager for the first time, we should keep in mind all the aspects that are involved in sexuality and attach a vocabulary according to their age, because if they have not talked about sexuality and its aspects since childhood with them, doing it unexpectedly at this age can be complicated. There is no better age or time to discuss sexuality with children. Sexuality is present from the moment of birth, and should be a daily theme in family talks to build trust between our children.
In pre-adolescence can be addressed more openly aspects related to prevention and conception to avoid pregnancy or in the worst cases of sexual transitions, because at this age adolescents begin to have affection for sexual intercourse.
Young people increasingly begin sexual relations at an earlier age.
Parents should get their children to trust them so they can talk more openly about all sexuality issues. Adolescents can the population most vulnerable to these issues have many questions and doubts adults often do not know to address the issue for fear of the questions and the answers that have to be given.
