Activities to reinforce the Values!!!!!
I want to talk about something important that are "Values", although it is true, that should be taught at home; however, many children spend most of their time in a classroom.
For this reason, it is transcendental to fortify daily on love, respect, companionship, work and discipline in classroom activities.
The school the place where the teacher must maintain a transmitting attitude of values, to be able to define citizens adapted to the society and who can be able to face any difficult situation.
Below I will present some activities to reinforce values:
1.- Apply a program to the month, where a different value is addressed in each month.
2.- Work as a team, on the value chosen in the program, where the teacher deals with the subject with attitude, to strengthen the value in a solid and forceful way.
3.- Make socialized discussions about success, discipline, creativity and responsibility.
4.- Teach students to make their own decisions.
5.- Paste into the classroom, a sheet that records coexistence code and work guidelines.
6.- Take a time to read a story or story, referring to the value chosen in the program, generating brainstorming with the children.
7.- Make fun games about values mimics, since children learn quickly through fun.
8.- Apply self-regulation based on a school rule based on a value, for example: if it is Respect, ask students to say rules to keep respect in the classroom.
9.- Ask students to establish personal goals to improve their value at school and at home.
I hope my publication will be useful, if someone has other strategies that I have not named, feel free to contribute and expand my knowledge.
I agree that values are super important! You have many great ways to plan for teaching them. Something else I like to do is create a group target of how many times we notice each other living the value, and if we get to our goal we get to celebrate a bit (some fun game is a perfect celebration!).
Thanks for your comment, the children really learn with fun activities and they are recorded for life.
