Deeply disturbing news. Once again, children used as guinea-pigs, injected with something they don't need, while side-effects were probably never studied for girls so young. Not to mention the fact that it was done without parental consent.... simply horrible!
Let me tell you, they know exactly what the side effects are. Before a professional nurse may administer any medication, she/he must know what side effects to monitor. Teenage pregnancy is a huge problem in South Africa, they must treat the problem not the cause of the problem. Health education is so important. I also blame the parents for not teaching their children between right and wrong. Some parents expect the teachers to teach their undisciplined, unruly, bad mannered children.
