Persuasion is one of the biggest things that helps people lead big groups of people. Historically, kings would use fear. And money can motivate. And love can also do a lot, too. Some choose to micromanage students. However, it is better to be a leader than it is be a manager over people. But we cannot always guarantee what a bunch of people will do. We should try to reward good behavior more than we try to punish bad behavior.
