Never stop writing.
You could say things have become boring lately on our faithful platform here.
The money currently isn't where it used to be. That is to say...... it is much lower than it was a couple of months ago.
You might be feeling frustrated.
You might be thinking....
"Why should I continue to write articles that take such a long time to write when no one is visiting the platform to read them because the money isn't where it used to be?"

Well, in order to answer that question you first have to ask yourself....
"Why am I writing?"
To this question there are two good answers, in my humble opinion.
The first answer is simply that you enjoy writing. I myself enjoy writing very much.
The other answer, which is also quite acceptable, is that you like money. Anyone that says that they don't like money is just lying. I'm not saying money is everything, but we do need money to get by.
Let's look back to when Steem was $0.88. You might remember that it was only a few months ago. Then it very quickly rose up to about $7.00 before falling back to where it is now.
Where it is now is still about 10 times higher than it was last year though.
This is the time to be writing. This is the time to be gathering up your Steem power and plowing through. When the price rises again you will benefit from the actions that you take now.
Not only that, but if you stop writing for any reasonable period of time, it is likely that you'll get out of practice.
When you stop writing for a couple of months, are you still going to be putting out the same quality articles that you are now?
You might be thinking....
"Hey, let me delegate my power and then just take a reward everyday without actually doing any work."
If you have a decent sized stake..... this works.
What does it do to the pool of quality content though?
Doesn't it leave that pool of content up to simple memes that find their way to the top of the trending page instead of insightful articles and quality fiction?
Keep writing.
Together we can continue to have a quality platform instead of one that is overrun by posts that have little value.

Yes, definitely keep writing too, as you want to keep your regular readers too, If we stop, then they sadly will forget about us. We have to keep forging on to fight the good fight for quality information.
That is also true. People are fickle. Today's Superstar can be tomorrow's forgotten hero, languishing by the side of the road.
