Teaching By Profession
This is why I believe more governments need to invest in students who which to become fully qualified, and further qualified, teachers. Community colleges needs to broaden their syllabus when it comes to teaching subjects so that not only are study opportunities available, but there is a wide selection thereof. In Indonesia, the government declared teaching as an authorised profession on December 2, 2004. Since then they have funded studies for students who are interested in advancing their careers as teachers, but there is still much room for improvement.
By creating well educated teachers, not only are we allowing individuals to advance in their fields, but we also have more qualified mentors for our students. So, in turn, our children receive a better education. They also learn and mimic the values that illuminate from industrious teachers, since students often mimic their teachers and learn from the examples they set. By encouraging and assisting teachers to reach ultimate study and training goals when it comes to teaching, we can only but reach a “win win” situation.
Being a teacher is a noble profession, probably one of the hardest and emotional professions around, especially since the minds (and hearts) of our younger and impressionable generations are in our hands. What are you doing to be the best teacher you can be? And do you feel your country is helping you to educate your students?

Icoh lom, selamat :D
Absolutely right on! Thanks for sharing.
It is so important that educators are always learning more in order to better themselves. It can be difficult when professional development courses can cost as much as $800. The board does offer a wide variety of workshops to help teach new skills as well.
