steemhomework: Motivating Kids

in #steemiteducation7 years ago (edited)

I am challenged to complete homework that is not easy, on this occasion I have to become an influential psychiatrist to motivate my students to do good to the surrounding community. this is a matter of values, good grades are contagious from good habits and coaching. It's also about character building, which creates a good person so that it becomes a society that cares about each other.

It is the duty of teachers to influence students to be better, both for himself and good for others. An independent Personal figure can manifest both. An educated child will nurture good values in his or her daily life. This needs intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic motivation for the realization of a person who cares about his environment.

That affects the intrinsic motivation from within is every individual wants to be respected and valued, the kids really like recognition. The approach that must be done is a religious approach, religion has set the ethics and aesthetics in the community. I am more inclined to awaken the religious side of children to motivate themselves.

Extrinsic motivation should I give to the students I was preparing them healthy mental as a key driver motivate them to do good. This healthy mental realized from the guidance character building, familiarize thankful, giving, and help each other, so that the creation of awards and prizes. A figure that is appreciated by the community will motivate him to do more, even though the prize is only gratitude. To support all that I require them to tell a story and give a bit of my time to hear whatever good they have done as the experience of their behavior. Experiences such behavior will motivate them that to do good.

I also encourage them to participate in Habit and behavior that develops in community groups such as community service, and others. This habit will foster the norms of society who care about the environment. Children who actively follow this habit will be sensitive to the community. They will care for each other, help each other and develop each other to be smart comunities. Students who have been successfully motivated will look sympathy and empathy, this is part of civilized social life.

I think kids pick up their habits when young and will carry over through their adult lives. Very few will ever break out of their habits and that is why starting early is vital. Most of the days kids are around the teachers at school so it is vital for the teachers to hold themselves at a high standard. It is sad to see that nowadays a lot of public school teachers in the US are treating their work as a chore versus a highly important occupation that will benefit society as a whole. A lot of lessons are taught by the book but I think it should be taught more than that. Teachers spend the most time with our kids so they have the big influence. Wish every teacher had your mindset so that everyone can be better.

thank you @mawit07
you really understand the psychology proplema learners. very easy to guide elementary school students, but not for high school. here needed a deep emotional connection between students, teachers and parents. teachers themselves can not control their activities outside school, but teachers can teach the good values that their students must have. the habits I mean here are the positive habits of society, not the negative habits that plunge them into negative mental.
