Write To Earn
We are all on the platform mainly because we want to earn online.
Most of the active ones create daily content. The newbies would come and struggle to survive and get noticed.
Anger and disappointment naturally build up when new members do not get the attention that they want. Very often, the source of all these is due to greed and shattered dreams.
I have been writing online ever since I started during the peak of cryptocurrency in 2017 and I believe many joined during those times but there were many who left because their dreams of instant success and the quick wealth were not fulfilled.
There is no instant success like what we read when one can earn $10k on steem platform. It was just that few and not everyone.
Building an account can be a lonely journey when no one knows us and the worst is many are further rejected when they begged for upvotes which is not the way to go.
One of my articles was recently featured in the OCD and it was after almost one and a half year of writing educational articles.
Your Right To Earn
The fact that we are not entitled to a guaranteed upvote and no one needs to upvote our articles unless they want to.
It does not mean we write an article that we feel is good enough would be accepted by others as a good-enough article.
I did not have instant success if I only I did.
I had lots of struggles like the rest.
No one owes us and everyone has a choice.
The amount of steempower that a whale possesses has nothing to do with us unless one can get the attention and recognition above all the auto-upvote that is going around.
By not having the forceful demand on others, everything we get on the platform becomes a bonus rather than our right to earn because we want to write to earn.
Your Niche
When we create content that we are passionate about, we are sharing our thoughts and life through those content.
When our passion affects those who read our content, we are slowly building our pool of supporters.
I must say that it is like morning dewdrops being gathered from the leaves and it takes time to gather enough.
As time passes, we may even see great result of nice amount of support for our content.
We must examine what we enjoy and write what we are passionate about.
Regardless of the result, just continue to walk this journey and refine as we move along this writing journey.
In Conclusion
We want to write to earn but we are not entitled the right to earn because we write. No one owes us and we must continue to write what we are passionate about and gather feedback to refine our content accordingly.
As we walk this journey, we start to build friendship and friendship would lead us to have our pool of regular supporters.
