Start To Ask Why

in #steemiteducation6 years ago (edited)

There are many students who would always ask ‘Why’ in many things.

They would challenge the authority of adults when they do not agree and they would ask ‘Why’.

Most teachers would patiently explain the reason but not all teachers would have the time to do so.

There are many students who give up asking 'Why' when they are scolded or they do not get an answer for their question.

Encourage students to question the norms would encourage them to think beyond what they are being taught and break free from routines and find new ways.

We do not want passive learners but we want active learners who would ask ‘Why’.

When students can analyse based on their own perspective, we are nurturing them to be ready for future challenges when they can think beyond what they are being taught.

By breaking out of the norms, they can stay relevant and competitive.

Parents and teachers should not stop children from asking 'Why' but they should ask why there are not enough 'Why' being asked.
