EVERYDAY PHILOSOPHY
How do we understand philosophy? Is it all about cosmic matters? No, it is not all about vosmic matters, every day will raise philosophical questions: "Why do we go to places we go, why do we eat the things we eat, why do we work the way we work, what ideas underlie our most basic activities, the tendency to daydream?"
Philosophers seem to examine more mysterious or even esoteric phenomena. Some include the intricacies of language, free will, morality.

- Some parents are so busy giving good advice to their children that they fail to set a good example for them.

- If a man has to stand on his dignity, he is very short.

- A parent is an optimist who believes Johnny will sound like Beethoven when he plays in a piano recital.

- A married couple can live a long and happy life if one of them is unselfish and unspoiled.

- Why is it that spring fever makes a man put his feet on the desk and rest, but it makes a woman clean house and moves everything?
Mad Traffic Cop
- It must be hard work for a traffic policeman to stay mad all the time.
- Walking is the best exercise in the world if you can find any place to do it.

- The blessing in having twins is that when one cries you can't hear the other.
Road Hog
- A road hog is a person who speeds up every time you speed up to get in front of him.
- The little boy prayed that he might be made a good boy - but not until the day after tomorrow.
- If we could see ourselves as others see us, we would never speak to ourselves again.
