The Bible for kids 2 - Adam and Eve sin.

The beautiful garden that Adam and Eve lived in was called the Garden of Eden. They were both naked but they were not ashamed. God told them that they can eat from all the trees in the garden but not from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve were very happy in the garden.

In the garden, the devil entered into a body of a snake and told Eve you can eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil then you will become clever. You will know what is good and what is evil.

The fruit of the tree looked so good to Eve that she took of the fruit and eat. She also give to Adam and he also ate.

Then suddenly they realized that they were naked and made themselves clothes of fig leaves. That evening God came to Adam and Eve. When they heard His voice they hide because they were afraid as they did not listen to God. God called Adam and said: Adam where are you?. Adam then said to God, I am hiding because I'm shy that I'm naked.

God asked Adam, did you ate of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil? The woman gave me the fruit and I ate, said Adam to God. God asked Eve what did you done? She said the snake lied to me and I ate. God was very disappointed and sad but He felt sorry for them as the fig leaves made them itched.

So God made them clothes of animal skin that was soft and warm. He was angry and sad because they were disobedient and put them outside the garden. He said to Adam from now on Adam had to work very hard to stay alive. To Eve God said that will with pain birth to her children. God said to the snake that he is cursed and would sail on his belly in the dust.
