You have probably heard this old proverb many times, but we still regret sometimes because we have not really paid attention to it. The meaning of this proverb is that when we attend to things immediately, we may avoid things getting worse or minimize extra work that lateness might cause. Many people ignore this wise sayings and often run into problems or difficulties. Here are just 2 examples.
1. Hundreds of missed flights daily: One of the reasons that made travelers miss there flights or train ride is that they failed to turn up early. Its best known to them why this happens. But the reason you purchased a flight ticket and prepared to travel is very important. Is it worth it to miss your flight when you are supposed to leave? Maybe, if you had attended to things earlier or left some things to be done when you are back, you could have caught your flight. A little self organization would be in order too. So because of not arriving the airport to board the plane when they should, have made many people miss their flights and trains. Not just fights and trains, people miss appointments, doctors visits, etc.
2. Students that fail their exams: Most students fail their exams because they started reading a few days to writing their exams. Some students do not even read at all. Because of this, they struggle to pass their papers. If only they started early enough, if only they tried to read when they had all the time, they would not have failed. Some students simple think that the exam is too far ahead of them. Unexpectedly, they are taken unawares. The result? low grades and failures.
The above are just 2 real life examples of people doing things late. A stitch in time saves nine. Yes, it could save your marriage, job, relationship, career, family, health or even your life! The lesson? Do things as at when due and save yourself some stress tomorrow!

I fly often, and have only missed two flights in my life. Both were due to mix ups. I double and triple check all the details now. And I go VERY early for flights. I try to always take small steps for tasks and get them done, but it does not always work out!
This is a phrase that I loved, and I had never heard it before ...
And it is very successful, the truth of the moment does not come to mind any situation in relation, but it sure happens to me, this post left me thinking!
