6 Fun and scrumptious ways to use up your leftover Easter candy
Did the Easter bunny leave all his candy with you after the long weekend? Worry no more.
Easter eggs, marshmallows and chocolate bunnies can become tedious after seeing and eating them for days on end, so why not make it a fun and delicious activity with your children to transform these chocolate creatures into everyday treats.
Here is a few ideas and recipes, please share with me which ones you maybe tried:
I love bunnies S'more than you
Take your marshmallow eggs or bunnies and transform them into delicious s'mores by using either Tennis or Marie biscuits if you're from South Africa like I am or any biscuits that you usually use to make your s'mores with.
The ultimate snack mix
This is perfect for the whole family to enjoy in front of the TV or just when passing the kitchen and feeling like a little sweet and salty treat.
You will need all your leftover candy such as jelly beans, cookies, chocolate eggs, candy coated pretzels etc. and a fresh batch of popcorn. Mix everything together in a big bowl and enjoy.
Creme Egg Cookie bars - Is your mouth watering yet?
This is definitely something that I will be making on a regular basis and not just with leftover Creme Eggs. If you want to have your children and husband wrapped around your pinky, have a look at this recipe from House of Yumm.
'EGG'celent choc chip cookies
If you have any type of chocolate eggs, speckled eggs or M&M's left you can use a simple cookie recipe and dazzle them with a dash of chocolate goodness. These will be finished before you know it.
Jack and the Jelly Bean donuts
Get the family or friends together for a nice dinner or 'braai' (that's a good old BBQ in South Africa) this weekend and serve these delicious Jelly Bean donuts to keep the children busy or just for as sweet snack.
If you are inviting friends with children, let them decorate the donuts themselves with your leftover Easter jelly beans to keep them busy.
Easter cake in a mug
Are you looking for that perfect sweet snack to enjoy in front of the TV that is 1, 2, 3? Well here it is...
Thanks to your leftover Easter candy your can make your chocolate cake in a mug even more chocolaty.

Our kids are constantly coming up with creative ways to use their Easter eggs. Just this weekend they made Easter egg pancakes and then melted some to make chocolate covered bananas on a stick. Lots of fun.
I love these ideas and how creative your kids are. Thanks for making my mouth water ;)
