How to Educate Children to Being Smart?

Every educator wants their students to be smart and intelligent. Not only smart in remembering lessons but also smart in analyzing. Smart nature can not come instantly. Being intelligent also can not be taught just like that. Being smart initially is a gift. Smart is innate.

Although intelligent is innate, it does not mean that other people can not be smart. Every child has the potential to be smart. Although the potential is different. Being smart though has to go through several processes. Therefore, children should be educated to be smart early on.

A teacher or educator has a chance to get his or her students to be smart. Here are some tips to make children smarter.

1. Smart teaching
   Teaching not only completed the obligation. Teaching not only finish the job. Teaching has a certain value that must be maintained. Therefore, teaching or educating must be done with all heart. Smart teaching is one way to get students to be smart. Teachers do not need to give a lot of homework to students. But the teacher must teach the essence of the subject. When the teacher begins to teach the core of the problem, the student will begin to think more broadly.

2. Associate with circumstances
   Learning something in school has always had to do with life. However, many teachers are only fixated on textbooks that only teach what is in the book. Every teacher should be able to explore the subject matter vastly. Teachers should link the knowledge learned with daily life. Thus the students will think further and make his brain work. Finally, students began to think intelligently.

3. Build rapport
   Teachers and students should have good relationships. Students and teachers do have etiquette that must be maintained. But do not be too awkward with students. If teachers or educators can build good relationships with students then the discussion will go well. Students will not be shy or awkward when asking. This makes students' self-confidence improves and their thinking intelligence becomes good.

4. Build curiosity
   The essence of learning is curiosity. Good educators or teachers should be able to cultivate curiosity in their students. If students already feel curious then the passion of learning will increase and if the passion of learning increases then the science will quickly absorbed. It is fitting to open a lesson by asking questions about something to be learned.

5. Healthy food
   As a good teacher encourage students to eat healthy foods. Foods that contain vitamins will stimulate brain performance. Healthy eating can also increase intelligence. If necessary, tell the parents of the students to provide healthy food for their children.
