A long time ago I felt the anxiety to form a SCHOOL FOR PARENTS, due to the problems that I observed in my students as: lack of affection, attention by parts of their parents, without values ... Parents who did not know what to do Do with their children .
Many times I thought that children are not the problem, I think they are parents, who need to go to school. And so it was, over time and for one reason or another I could not start this project, but since I also know that "God's time is perfect" it was now, with you and in this church that He allowed me to do it. For the glory of God.

Reflection: We are always waiting for our children to be great professionals, be successful, responsible, obey ... we expect many things, what we do to achieve it, and what they thought.

In this workshop with: BIBLICAL BASES FOR THE FAMILY
Our first lesson is: "THE ROLE OF PARENTS IN THE FAMILY".
We know that the family has been and is the main pillar of society and that a united family, makes their children feel safe.
And in the family, parenting is successful when:

1. The father is in charge of the discipline
2. Mother oversees children
3. Parents love each other.
4. Spend time together as a family

But, our culture has changed a lot in parenting. Most parents do not spend enough time with their children because of work and if not the technology that has occupied our space. Many parents do not know how to educate and discipline, others do not know their duties as parents and there are those who want to have children, but they do not want to be parents, giving the grandmothers, aunts or teachers the responsibility that God has given as Fathers.

In this course we will examine the important principles for becoming a successful parent.

Where will we find help?
It is important that parents have the right information. But we live in a world full of erroneous philosophies and ideas.

Why should we be careful?
Who has the truth that we can trust?
This biblical quotation answers these two questions

Colossians 2: 8
Be careful that no one captivates you with the vain and misleading philosophy that follows human traditions, which is in accordance with the principles of this world and not according to Christ.

We can only rely on Christ for help because He is the creator of us and the family institution, and that more than our father is, he says:

Genesis 2: 21-24
21 Then the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and as he slept, he drew a rib and closed the wound. 22 From the rib that had taken away the man, God the Lord made a woman and presented it to the man, 23 and exclaimed:

24 Therefore a man forsaken his father and his mother, and he is joined to his wife, and the two melt into one.

Where do we find the principles that God offers us to fulfill our responsibility as parents?

The Bible is the only sure guide for the father who seeks help in values, how to educate, train, discipline, that is, everything necessary to equip a successful father.

2 Timothy 3: 16-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for rebuking, for correction and for instruction in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be perfectly prepared for every good work.

What should parents do and what should we not do?
We do what we must do.
This Scripture gives a good summary of the correct relationship between parents and their children.

Ephesians 6: 1-4
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with promise, 3 that it may go well with you and enjoy a long life on earth."
4 And ye fathers, provoke not your children to anger, but teach them according to the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

The idea here is not that we should arbitrarily use our authority over children. Most parents do not apply the principles of the Bible consistently when they relate to their children. Many decide what they are going to do with their children right now, depending on what they feel. Sometimes they do not even think about what is best for their child, but in the easiest way to solve the current situation. This kind of relationship frustrates children because the way we treat them always changes, as circumstances change and our emotions change. Children need to learn firm principles, which are applied uniformly, to give them the biblical basis on which they can learn and enjoy life.
So:

Responsibility of fathers

As we read in:

Ephesians 6: 4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; Instead, educate them in the training and instruction of the Lord.

(1) CREATE
Literally means "Provide for your needs" the parent has to take care of providing to meet the needs of every area of ​​the child's life, both physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.

(2) DISCIPLINARY
"Training with Facts" speaks of the correction of incorrect or negative attitudes and actions. The purpose is not to punish bad behavior but to help the child learn what he should and should not do.
This is body discipline and the Bible is full of quotes that speak of the responsibility of parents to discipline their children as well.

(3) INSTRUCTIONS OR WARNING
"Training through verbal communication" should educate our child with God's principles for life. Not only are we talking about the information that can be learned in a school, but also the biblical wisdom and practical information that helps you learn to make good decisions.
Unfortunately, many parents do not educate our children well, but allow the child to learn for himself or allow others to take their legitimate role.
As parents we think we educate well, but what is education according to me? ... give my son what he asks me to do what he wants and do not let him do anything because it's my job and not his, I do not see it, but those who really realize what I'm failing In Education Children Strangers, Those who look at me, relatives, friends, neighbors and above all GOD.

REFLECTION
What reasons do we have for striving so hard to fulfill these three parental responsibilities? What do we expect as a result of compliance? God gives us some ideas in His Word:
FOR THE SON: What will the son have to follow the teaching of his parents?
FOR THE FATHER: Parents who were faithful to their responsibility with their children will have ...
