Recommendations to teach children to take care of themselves
In these times, it is important to pay attention to everything that happens around us. For that, it is essential that you learn to take care of yourself. One way to do this is to consider certain situations that can cause a bad time.
Carefully read the following precautions:
If you walk or move alone on the street, do not stop to talk to strangers, or to receive candy or unknown items.
SourceDo not leave your home at inappropriate times, that is, at dusk because, in general, people are inside their homes and the street is alone.

If you do, be warned, but before touring the place, it is good to observe well and locate landmarks, as well as read carefully the signs that indicate danger. This will prevent you from getting lost or having a bad time.
SourceAlways remember to ask for help from an adult in any dangerous situation. You are still small and it is important that you learn to take care of yourself.

That is a great article these precautions are so important. One that my dad taught me as a teenager and still follows as an adult is:" when you are crossing the road always look at the driver in the car in the eye to make sure he saw you are crossing if it doesn't seem to see you don't cross."

It is really important to teach them how to defend themselves, and what to do in case of an emergency. I always show my daughter the dangers in the house. When we are in places with many people I do not allow him to let go of my hand. He has managed to learn phone numbers.

Thanks, this is very helpful for parents with small kids. We have tried making them remember our names and addresses but you never know their reaction if they panic, if they will remember it. In a recent trip, we had them wear id lanyard with the information.
