Learning about traffic lights and traffic signals in a fun way
The traffic light and traffic signals

Teaching children the meaning of colors in traffic lights and traffic signals is an important task. Learning the right from the wrong is part of the development of our growth.
The streets are very dangerous and we must be attentive in everything as possible. We have a series of rules that we must comply with when we are on the street. It is not just saying: "we are going to cross the street", "this sign is here but we are going to overlook it, because I'm going in a hurry", NO, is to know correctly what man has created for the benefit and care of our lives.
When it comes to bringing this information about the use of traffic lights and traffic signals to children, should be done in the best way possible, so that the information can be easily captured, since children may be carried away by the striking colors, and the figures shown in each poster, but we must explain how important it is to know how to properly recognize each sign, for its own good and benefit.
As educators we must start by explaining the function of the traffic light, as well as the signs present on the tracks, which are there to prevent accidents, guiding us on our way. We will talk with the children with the use of easy concepts to retain, and thus be able to execute various activities that will be carried out without any problem at school. simulating that they are on the street properly and we will see how much they have captured with the information provided.
The red color: indicates that you must stop quickly.
Yellow: It is an intermediate step from green to red. Indicate caution, be alert.
Green: it tells us that we can continue because there are no obstacles.
Let's make it very clear, that the signs are to alert and protect us and must be complied with, to avoid accidents that could end the life of the individual.
Something that can not be overlooked, is talking with children about the importance of being vigilant when crossing the streets.

Never a child can cross the street without a representative, it is very dangerous.
A child alone loses his balance and is often frightened and paralyzed, that is when something fatal can happen.
Let them know that crossing with an adult is the right thing to do, because a child on the street is someone vulnerable and fragile.
Once all is explained to them on the subject, the children will proceed to do expositions, to see how much they have learned and researched.
With this we make the child quickly assimilate what he has in his fresh thoughts and we can take him to practice simulation in school.
They should know what the red, yellow and green color means at the traffic light and how we should act when one of the active colors is present at the time of being on the street. Also proceed with the signs, you must make signs that contain the signs and explain them.
Once, learned the information about the traffic light and traffic signs, in addition to the importance of never crossing the classes alone, you must continue with the activity in practice.
Simulation of the theme within the school
Doing a simulation of activities makes everything learned clearer, because they make it a reality through the game, and it is evaluated if they have captured the information.
We will select some children, so that they are in a traffic light suit, and give the order of the signal that must be in the moment and the children must fulfill it correctly.
When the children, in a traffic light suit change the signal, classmates should be alert and know what to do at this time.
Everything is already studied and learned that way, which should be easier to follow the rules.
The simulation activity can be done inside the school with a room prepared for this task, or outdoors, in the same way with everything ready for the execution of the activity.

Children will have fun and at the same time they will be learning something very useful, which is also extremely important.
The simulation of the activity allows them to feel as if they were in the street, following the signs and learning the meaning of each one, so when they are out of school they will know how to act and they will be able to do the right.
Take the learning to an activity and see how children are even more interested in learning.
