How to find the length of the Hypotenuse of a Right angled triangle. (Math Lesson)
Hi guys, This time, it's a Math lesson and it's all about finding the Hypotenuse of a Right angled triangle.
What is a Right angled triangle?
There are many kinds of triangles.
So in this lesson, we are talking about the Right angled triangle.
What is the Hypotenuse?
As you can see, there are htree sides in any triangle. In the right anled triangle, the longer side which is situated n the opposite direction of the two lines which form the right angle is called the Hypotenuse.
So the great mathematician Pythagoras, invented a relationship between the Hypotenuse and the other two sides.
What is the Pythagoras relationship about the Right angled triangle???
Look at the above mentioned triangle. Here the Hypotenuse is the AC line segment.
1)Now find the area of the squares which form from the AB segment.
2)Then find the area of the squares which form from the BC segment.
3)Then find the area of the squares which form from the AC segment.
So the answers should be,
1)16
2)9
3)25
The above questions and the answers can also be written as this.

What Pythagoras said is,

Accordingly,

So the length of the line AC is 5.

Hope you learnt how to find the length of the Hypotenuse.
