I find the whole thing fascinating. History is all around us, often deep in the soil. You must have had a blast uncovering those artifacts. And I cannot even imagine what must have gone through your head at the time. I would have been like a kid, jumping around and unable to sleep for at least a day. lol
Yes, history is under our feet everywhere. If you dig anywhere in Hungary, you'll surely find at least a pottery fragment.
