Celebration of Earth Day
In schools, it is very important to educate and encourage children about preservation, care and love for the land. It is important to let them know that the Earth needs us, but that we need it much more.
The goal of celebrating our Mother Earth Day is to remember the importance of providing the attention you deserve every day of the year.
Educating children about the inappropriate way that causes damage to the planet is to make them aware of our actions. Because each living being depends on the ecosystem of the earth, and if the necessary measures are not taken to take care of it, it can harm everyone.
How to celebrate the day of the earth?
In the first place, it is necessary to speak in schools about the importance of the land, explaining its meaning and what it represents for the world, that it should be maintained in optimal conditions.
The earth: live, feel and breathe, just like us human beings. We are a reflection of what she is and for that reason we must take care of her equal or more than we do.
How do we let mother earth know that we love her?
Caring for the earth and keeping it clean, directly involves water, soil, air and the conservation of flora and fauna. When we love the earth, we love ourselves, therefore, we must preserve our habitat.
By teaching to meditate, to become aware and to reflect on the state of deterioration that our planet has reached, it is possible to find possible solutions for its improvement.
The celebration is based on learning, that is why we must carry out activities that feed children with a sense of responsibility and conscience.
Educational activities:
Conversations: They are based on talking about the land and asking questions inquiring their knowledge about the subject.
Example of questions for students:
1- What is a planet?
2- Where, is there life and can you live?
3- How do you collaborate for the preservation of the land?
4- Why is the care of Mother Earth important?
The multiple options to celebrate, teach and educate children about the planet earth are satisfying and motivating.
Make drawings on posters: It is an easy and simple task, besides inculcating students who want to contribute in some way to carry the message of caring for the planet. These drawings must contain reasons for care, love, respect and a sense of responsibility. Once they have been done, they will be placed on an informative billboard in front of everyone to create awareness.
Mosaics with recycling material. Creating awareness is very stimulating in the training of children, teaching them to be able to help preserve the environment so that future generations have the pleasure and privilege of enjoying it.
We have much to celebrate, and it is important to generate a good intention for the benefit of our mother earth, to fulfill a common purpose for the benefit of all.
