HOME SCHOOLING OR NOT WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Teaching children home schooling has a lot of advantages, as these children do not have to get into trouble with bullies and other children who have never learnt manners. I am not saying there are many of these children, but there are children who do not get good examples at home and it is not their fault. So I feel sorry for them but I do not have to let children who can do home schooling have to mix with these children.

Yet they are also lonely children. Now there is more than one way to overcome this problem. Find out from the nearest school if they will let your child who is home schooling take part in some of the sports activities at school.

This will let them make friends and you will have control over their friends they choose. 

Normally children, who do some kind of sport, are very nice children. They do not have to take part in games where other schools can complain, but our grandson is home schooling and he is taking part in golf with friends. 

These children are very nice and he is not that lonely. Then the wonderful internet also makes it possible for children to be able to skype together and discuss their school work.

So now they can discuss their work talk about their golf and they get together over weekends and sleep over, so they are really not so lonely. 

The one thing they do not get mixed up in are drugs and things we as parents have to look out for as life has changed so much. That it is so difficult to keep them away from these things when they are young. 

The other one has gone to university now, and he is playing a lot of rugby and enjoying it tremendously. He is already so trained about drugs that he does not even look at it. He goes to the gym and practices a lot; he does not want to lose his chance at his rugby because of a stupid thing like drugs.

He is a wonderful child and this one who is at home is just as nice, as they have a lot to do with grownups  who talk to us, his grandparents a lot. 

Maybe we are not the best friends for him to have, but we are the best example he will ever get. Children learn through example and because they only get good examples they are good kids. 

The nice thing for him playing golf is his grandfather also plays, and they slip away ever so often to quickly get 9 holes in.

It is very nice to know you are bringing up good well educated children and they are happy. 

I have nothing against schools my own husband was principal for many years, but things started changing at schools a few years ago and we think they are learning better at home as all of the grownups are teaches and help is not at all in shortage. 

So there is a good reason for both it is the choice of the parent and I think every parent has a right to decide.

 All parents are not at home the whole day.  So that can also make a big difference these children cannot stay at home alone the whole day, that will make it more difficult for the parent to let the child home-school. 

This is something that has to be discussed and well planned. There is a place for all and it is every parent’s right to decide about this.

We have pro’s and con’s according to the circumstances of the child’s home. So no one can say this is wrong or right as everyone has their own circumstances.
