Feed your community from the @steemiteducation "Tree of Knowledge"

As a student of the school of life, I have a story for all my fellow classmates today...

Source

This is a story about a girl who works hard for her family every day and rarely ever goes outside. A girl who had nothing but her own company for a long time and yet, had many.

She took care of everyone but herself and her brain started to feel like a flower that was slowly wilting because of inadequate amounts of water and sunlight. This bright girl needed to start feeding her brain again with much needed information as it was starving for knowledge for anything but the usual housewife talk.

This girl then started to do online courses but it did not scratch the itch. She then registered at the university to complete her studies that she once was unable to complete due to reasons out of her control. She spent a lot of money on textbooks and university fees but it was well worth it in the end.

With all of this new knowledge in her head, her friend @giantbear advised her to share it on Steemit. She took the advice and she suddenly was able to interact and have real conversations with people from all over the world for a change. Her brain is still looking for "food" and sucks every detail up like a sponge.

She was then offered the opportunity to be part of the @steemiteducation curation team. Needless to say, she jumped at the opportunity to be part of such an amazing venture. "What an excellent source of information this is from all over the world", she thought.

The money she makes from this is a bonus, but feeding her brain and being able to feed other brains, is what makes it worth her while. So many things to learn from so many cultures all over the world, for FREE!

What's in store for this girl one day when she finds a teaching opportunity in another country? Endless opportunities, that's what!

This is because she learned it from the @steemiteducation "Tree of Knowledge"

I introduce to you, the @steemiteducation "Tree of Knowledge". This has been created especially for @steemiteducation and will be used until we find a better one.

A thick base of knowledge, holding together all the communities (leaves) and produces fruits to feed our brains!

Reading and learning from this tree is like reading from a textbook full of ideas and pretty little pictures, but it gets better. No need for studying for exams, only self-enrichment - and that is THE BIGGER PICTURE: seeing and experiencing what goes on in the world around you, how people think, what they think, what they do and how they do it. Learning how the minds of others work and getting to feed on it and then also get to feed your community with it.

Education doesn't ask which community you are from - education is a community where everyone is welcome!

Help this girl and her team make it possible. Please share this tree to help me promote @steemiteducation within your communities and to help us to help you feed your brain too.

This girl is an incredibly intelligent and creative member of the steemit community. This girl makes this place better every day she is here. This platform is lucky that this girl is here to share her passion, compassion, positivity, knowledge and wit. If you ever see this girl tell her I said "thank you" for all the time and energy she put into making steemit better.

We are glad to have you as part of the team @bdmomuae! Together we can do more!

Hahaha. It is a privilege for this girl to be part of such an amazing team. This girl thanks you for your support and your very motivating comment @hanshotfirst

Hi - I'm new to Steemit and it certainly does seem to be a good place to learn about a diverse range of opinions for free, especially good to see that it's truly global, and not dominated by so many people in the West, like me (sorry!).

I'm also encouraged that it offers a very broad base for people to discuss everything, so there's no one effectively setting the agenda.

I'm hoping that this site will grow further with more people posting about politics, sociology, and psychology especially.

However, from much of what I've read under those topics so far, there's a lot of opinion going around (which is fine) but not a lot of citing of credible evidence to back up opinion, which I'd like to see more of!

(Fully appreciating the irony that you could just say this is 'just an opinion comment'!)

It's good to notice things like that and although you're new, you should never hesitate to ask the author for more information about the topic he has discussed. If you're interested in finding out more, ask him/her for links to support their findings.
Thanks for reading here, and I wish you lots of success on Steemit.
