Mandela's timeline and creating your own timeline - English and History for Gr 3 worksheet
If you have a look at a timeline, you will be able to see all the different activities that took place on certain dates.
A timeline can be on any topic you choose or events that took place in our history - did you know that anything that took place in the past is called history?
You can even make a timeline on your own life - when you were born, when you started walking, when you went to school etc.
The timeline can be over a few years or even months - as long as you add in all the memorable events.
First of all we are going to look at and create the timeline on Nelson Mandela's life - below you will find dates and the events, you are going to put them in the right order and add them to your own timeline that you are going to design.
- You can find pictures to add to each event or draw a picture that goes with a certain event.
- Make your timeline colorful and interesting so that other people also want to have a look at it - you can even add more events or extra information to the events given.
