Misophobia

The first reaction that human beings have when they see or discover something new or that catches their attention will always be to touch it to know its texture, its composition, size, etc., however there are people who can not tolerate touching a person, to an object or any surface because they are afraid that they can be attacked by germs, batteries and this makes them wash their hands every time, these people are known as misofobicos. The important thing is not how these people are known but where this word comes from which is Misophobia. Misophobia comes from the Greek μύσος, romanization: mysos, "pollution"; and φόβος, romanization: phobos, «fear», also called germophobia, bacilofobia or bacteriofobia, is the pathological fear of dirt, pollution and germs.
