in #steemiteducation5 years ago

We have learned about our wonderful country before.  And a lot of people across the world knows certain facts about South Africa or reasons why they would want to visit the country, how we struggle with crime and AIDS and poverty.  That racism still pops up every now and then, that we have wonderful heroes like Madiba and Desmond Tutu, FW de Klerk and thousands before them that brought the country to where it is.

Thank you @alishi. We truly have a country worth celebrating. I think the people of this great country is its greatest asset. Their potential, their power when united and an amazing goodness that rivals the beauty of Table Mountain.

We are also world champion complainers and it is good to read here as you have good things to say!!

yeah the past of South Africa was not well but it is the beautiful place on earth.

There are a lot of things from the past that I do not agree with and I am glad it is better, but unfortunately the way our government is going on now, is NOT better. We have a beautiful country and the need to care more for the people than for themselves. We need to let go of the past and move forward.
