The English and the Teacher Investigator

The transformation of the teaching profession has to start with a careful reflection on what is expected of it at present. Defining the basic skills required to develop the teaching - learning processes with the needs of society in a globalized world. For this reason, we can not remain except the domain and use of the English language, because it promotes improvements in the teaching process. The same, is considered a universal language of science and we find it in all areas of culture, science, economics, politics, social, philosophical and especially in technology.

Furthermore, in this language, we can find a lot of scientific research information that can help us in the educational practice, as stated by Niño-Puello, M (2013) "English is the preferred language by researchers when publishing their findings , most of the scientific research is initially published in specialized journals in English. " (p.252)

As teachers, critically observing our pedagogical practice is very important, because we are the main driver of our own learning and we are called to be aware of assuming an investigative aptitude. Culatta (2001) cited by Fenner, L (2012). It raises: "Effective teachers are not only good at creating content, but they also know how to find excellent materials for their students." (p.31) This means that as teachers we are committed to finding resources that will help us in the teaching process.

It should be noted that there are many websites that offer lessons, images, videos and other resources which can be used to complement our resources, this would be easier if we speak English, since the best websites are in English. There is the importance that those who exercise the teaching role dominate English to generate or enhance the skills of educational agents, in addition to producing significant changes that support the improvement of educational quality, the quality of society and the improvement of actions educational.

In fact, as teacher researchers, we must develop a host of functions that range from diagnosing the training needs of our students, their evaluation, to the selection and construction of strategies and resources for learning; This would imply the development of a research work regarding the contents that are taught as special didactic performances, that is why we can not leave aside the English language, since it is essential in current education, because we must constantly do research on educational innovations, advances in science related to education, among others. In addition, a research teacher must be able to understand English texts, as it will facilitate the bibliographic search at the time of developing research, it will also allow you to get quality information, as they are newer and more current, especially when we are working on new topics .

In the current Venezuelan educational context, the teaching of English as a foreign language is of the utmost importance and recognizes the social and cultural needs in which we live, that is why it is up to teachers to be able to adopt commitments to learn this universal language to help from our educational spaces to solve those needs.

So, it can be said that for the diversified Bolivarian secondary education the Language - Culture - Language area, it is very important to achieve a good human communication among the students, as well as to include the study of the English language, in this educational level it extends the linguistic hegemony of the Language Spanish Venezuelan, now it is through the teacher that the student expands the English proficiency, that is, the teacher will give the necessary tools so that they expand their verbal and oral expression in this language so that they have better international relations. It is worth mentioning that technologies help teens learn English more effectively, since most of these online tools are in this language.

Finally, it can be said that to be excellent teachers we have to be in constant change of the learning schemes and it is with the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the English language that we can improve the dynamic, didactic and collaborative processes in our Classrooms, all with the sole intention of reinforcing meaningful learning, critical thinking - reflective, creativity and universal values ​​in our students so they can cope in this era of globalized computing.
